๐ Comparing Before & After Images
Master the image comparison tool to create professional before/after comparisons with multiple viewing modes.
Navigate to Compare Tool
Go to gpsnap.com and click "Compare Images" or visit /compare directly. This tool works with any images - not just those captured with GPSnap.
Tip: The comparison tool works with images from any source: phone camera, DSLR, downloads, etc.
Upload Your Before Image
Click "Upload Before Image" and select the first image (the "before" state). Supported formats include JPG, PNG, WebP, and most common image types. The image will display immediately.
Tip: For best comparison results, use images taken from the same angle and distance.
Upload Your After Image
Click "Upload After Image" and select the second image (the "after" state). Once both images are loaded, the comparison interface will activate.
Tip: Images don't need to be the same size - the tool will align them automatically.
Choose Comparison Mode
Select your preferred viewing mode: 50/50 Split (slider to reveal portions), Side-by-Side (both images visible simultaneously), or Fullscreen (view individual images in detail).
Tip: Slider mode is best for precise change detection. Side-by-side is better for overall comparison.
Use the Slider (50/50 Mode)
In slider mode, drag the divider left and right to reveal different portions of each image. This is perfect for seeing exactly what changed between the two photos.
Tip: You can also click anywhere on the image to jump the slider to that position instantly.
Analyze Side-by-Side
Switch to side-by-side mode to view both images simultaneously. This helps compare overall composition, colors, and broader changes.
Tip: This mode is ideal for presentations or reports where you want both states visible at once.
Examine in Fullscreen
Use fullscreen mode to view either image in detail. This is helpful for inspecting fine details or zooming in on specific areas.
Tip: Take screenshots of your preferred comparison view to include in reports or documentation.
Load New Images
To compare different images, simply upload new before/after images. The tool supports unlimited comparisons - no usage limits or restrictions.
Tip: The images are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded to servers.
